Definitely has a learning curve. But well worth it. We love sweet potato hash but hate the prep of cubing the sweet potatoes, this made it super easy. I set it at the thickest setting to cut circles, then add one set of cross blades, stack the rounds to get cubes. Also it allows our 4yo to help with meal prep. Even to slice cucumbers, apples and carrots for his own snacking/lunches. Also makes quick work of slicing radishes and carrots to pickle. Or to airfry the carrots or sweet potatoes to make “chips”.

Easy to use and set up. Folds down for storage. Nice suction cups on bottom to hold in place when using. Uniformly sliced potatoes with no issues. Easy clean off.

To be honest, this was my first mandolin I've owned. I've heard great things about them, and I was not disappointed.I've used other types of choppers that use electricity, food processor types, and usually the results are a bit of a mess. Sure, they can chop things up, but it's usually almost liquified in the process, or at least pretty mushy. This mandolin really gives you very good control of the end product, especially if you are willing to play with the settings a bit. Everything is manual, but the design is very cool, with rotating "knobs" or "flaps" that change how thick the slices are, and also whether you are cutting them into strips, slices, diced cubes, julienne strips, etc. All of these things are easily done, but it does take some playing with and carefully going over the instructions. But you can also see the blades go in and out as you rotate some of the knobs, so you can kind of get a feel for it using that. While it's made out of plastic, it's very well-constructed plastic, and especially the blue color that I got is quite attractive, I think. The mandolin can folded up and put in a drawer or hung on a hook, but the plastic "bowl" that holds the contents takes up more room, so that needs a larger space, like a cabinet - and the protective shoot and presser also need a bit more space. It comes with a small brush that is really effective at cleaning items off of the blades and nooks and crannies where it can get lodged. Other than getting those out, a quick rinse in hot water is really all you need and so cleaning can be fairly quick.I do a lot of chopping on cutting boards and so it's going to probably take me a little while to reacclimate to using this for a lot of stuff, but it does make it more fun in some ways, especially for dicing, which can be a real pain. Slicing isn't as big of a time savings, so I may not use it for that, especially if I'm not slicing a ton of stuff. But for volume slicing, dicing, etc., this could be a real time and energy saver. In all, I've very pleased with both the look and the functionality of this device and the quality seems quite good, despite it being mostly made of plastic. While it's not dirt cheap, it's relatively affordable, especially given the usefulness!

I love this little device! It came yesterday and I couldn’t wait to try it. It was a little tricky to set it up, but once you learn it it’s a piece of cake. So far I have sliced cucumbers, carrots, cubed potatoes in a variety of thicknesses and sizes in only a few minutes! And most importantly, it’s really safe because you never have to touch the blades when you clean it and neither when you want to change to a different mode during processing. Maybe it’s a little bit tricky to clean, but if you wash it right after use, it’s very easy. Just place the pieces in a bowl with soap and water for awhile, then rinse it with hot water. Also, it’s very stable on the counter top during use. I can’t wait to see an electric model in the future and I wish I had found it long ago!

Better then a knife or traditional mandolin! I seriously love this thing. I'm starting a food business so I needed something to help me make quicker work of fruits and veggies. I saw this slicer in my research but decided to purchase an electric Salad Shooter instead, thinking it would really minimize my effort. I returned it promptly because it tore up anything soft, like strawberries and citrus fruit. Went ahead and ordered this one and I'm so glad! I've cut strawberries, citrus fruits, pineapple, apples, cucumbers, bananas, nectarines... all with no problem. I love the rotating dial that let's you select the thickness. It makes all my slices uniform and straight cuts. Very much like using a mandolin, only much easier and safer. Very easy to clean. I like that the handle locks down for storage. This was definitely worth the money. The only thing I don't like about it is the shape of the pusher cup. It's slightly annoying sometimes, but I'm still glad I bought it!

Makes processing carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, cabbage, etc. into thin julienne strips for the perfect slaw or salad. Super easy to clean. I have owned a steel mandoline contraption that cost a fortune for decades and never once figured out how to use the levers properly to achieve this...this is two knobs and done! Easy PEASY
__India Sanchez
I watched someone review this so I bought it!! I have arthritis and had to stop using my other mandolin and I missed it. This is even better than that!! I love it and highly recommend it because of its versatility and ease of cleaning.
__Thalia Jefferson
I made a gratin and the slices were thin and uniform. Cut my prep time in half. Love it!
__Charlee Carpenter
I read a lot of reviews on a few different mandolin slicers and landed on this one. was NOT dissappointed.
__Kinsley Blackburn
Works great for cucumbers! Wish it would make larger size French fries, too small my only complaint.
__Kadyn Rivers
If you love to cook like I do, then you know how hard it is to get the julienne the way you want it, or slices in the right thickness without cutting yourself. This pretty inexpensive tools will do the trick for you like it does for me. We eat literally tons of veg and love stuff like wraps that need food cut a certain way to be really pretty and work in the dish. Yes I recommend this..it just was a little tricky setting it up, but worth the effort
__June Hancock
Love this!! Once you get the blades set properly it cuts perfect shoe string fries. Havnt purchased the 5$ frozen bags since. Has held up well since the beginning of spring. Only downside side is I dont put it in the dishwasher.
__Kian Middleton
I have very limited mobility issues and I am able to slice potatoes, cucumbers and whatever else I need easily. Definitely give it a 5 star rating.

__Jayda Olson
Yes I love this slicer, I was so excited when I got it, I made some potato chips on the thin slice, he loved them, and love the way it slices without getting jammed up, I would recommend this product mine works great.
__Jacquelyn Waters
This has got to be the fastest way to slice potatoes. 5 pound bag done in 10 minutes. YOU NEED THIS!!! Husband safe too.
__Briley Lopez
Fácil de manipular y cumple mis expectativas
__Heath Bray
I cook a lot, and I needed something to use that is simple, and got the job done with no fuss. I was finally happy to be able to do Julienne slices, slicing, and diced pieces with ease. At first, it’s a little complicated figuring out how to work the settings in the back, but, you do pick it up easily. I was able to do a huge bowl of cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms in a very short time. I was actually shocked. Normally it would have taken me an hour to get this done. It took minutes. I would be careful with heavier items because it would take a little bit to push them down and slice them, but not terribly difficult. I also made scalloped potatoes with ease. Understand that this is a plastic item so you need to be careful not to break it, however, so far it is the best mandolin that I’ve ever used. I take care of my things, so I don’t see it being an issue. Trust me when I tell you I’ve had many, and they were good ones, but I always cut myself eventually. There is no risk to cutting your fingers whatsoever, and that is a blessing. I’ve read many comments that say that it’s difficult to clean. I do not understand what they mean because it was a breeze! All you have to do is run it under water, pumping the pump up and down. You can turn it around and do it one side and then do it to the other. I never had to use the brush. That being said I did not cut cheese in there or anything like that. I think I would use another way to slice cheese. This machine is great for what I am going to use it for. I believe it’s a little pricey because I’ve seen others that are cheaper, however this has more settings for slicing then others. Do I recommend this product? Definitely, without a doubt.
__Addisyn Harrell
I used this device to prep vegetables with ease.
__Caylee Cervantes
I have a food processor but don’t wish to drag it out and clean it to slice only a couple of vegetables. I have purchased other slicer products and they were mediocre at best. This is the quickest slicer I have used. I can cut potatoes and clean up the utensil in less time than I can get my food processor out and set it up. Absolutely love this fabulous utensil.
__Walter Glass
It’s beats any mandoline slicer I’ve had in the past hand down because it’s easy to use and does great slices
__Dorian Valentine
This is a great chopper/slicer! I even chopped rhubarb with it!

__Ahmad Roach
Nice product, would recommend
__Billy Roberts
very easy to use ( I just got it yesterday)- I used just little effort to julienne carrots, beets and spent much less time compare to if I would use knife or mandolin and- your fingers safe from cuts - the only small remark- a bit of produce juice is leaking to table- otherwise- I would really recommend this- easy to use, job done fast, and easy to clean
__Jayce Jensen
measured slices, not slicing my finger.
__Hugo Mccullough
Make cutting sweet potatoes much easier.
__Konner Gilmore
I was struggling cooking dinners Bc my hands tremor a lot from a medical issue (taking like 3 hours!) I had bought an item that was ruined just a few months. My husband came across this device but I was worried it would be failing like that other one BUT IT WORKS WONDERS! I now take like 2 hours off my time and saved my from an emergency room! Old one I had to switch out plates for what I wanted and the plates were super sharp and I was always slicing fingers. NOT THIS ONE! It works so easy! I have 4 different cuts and several thicknesses. Your hand never get near the blades and it suction cups to counter for stability. And there is near to no extensive process and have a tool so you can brush the blades clean! I had only one suggestion for the maker, put the notches and settings in a different color Bc white on white is horrible to see! Place them with ANY dark color you can! Without my suggestion, it is still wonderful and easy!
__Monica Brown
This slicer is a must if you have arthritis! It's easy to use and does a major job saving the fingers.
__Alison Yu
Easily slices any vegetable fast. I would purchase again
__Sienna Lynch

I purchased this for my dad after an injury using a cheese grater. He loves it and uses it daily. It’s easy to clean and store.
__Emma Oliver
I admire well engineered products and this is a well engineered product. I purchased this mandolin to make baked (purple - Stokes) sweet potato chips; I used to hand slice the potatos. Traditional mandolins don't seem safe to me because your hand is either exposed, or semi-exposed to the blade. Not so, with this device. I felt very safe using it to make thin (controllable thickness) slices, without wasting potato at the end of the job to protect my hands.I felt I had full control over the thickness of the slices. Clean up was easy. Most countertop appliances have no suction and are unstable or too much suction and can't easily be removed from the counter. The suction cups on this device are right in the Goldilocks range, just right. Before purchasing I was a bit confused, even after watching the vendor's video, about the two control nobs, 1 and 2, on the back of the device. There are two separate slicer blades and blade set A alternates with blade set B. One knob controls blade set A and one is for blade set B. If both sets are raised your veges will be very thinly sliced (strips, think julienned slicing); with one set raised (either A or B) your slices will be wider. With both sets lowered you will get full chips, which matches my settings for chips.Another pre-sales concern: how much effort does it take to slice. Not much, it should be easy for an elderly person to slice away. One post-sale confusing item: It took me a while to figure out how to release the slicing handle/plunger. You have to twist to release, or twist to lock. The plunger can't be moved if locked.Overall, this product saves me time, produces a superior sliced chip that is very consistent in size, is safer to use than a hand knife or a traditional mandolin and is easy to clean. How good is that?
__Jace Fitzpatrick
Cutting everything just go so much easier and faster.
__Jaelyn Steele
This works really great
__Jaylah Parsons
I absolutely LOVE this slicer. I got it specifically to slice potatoes for potatoes chips, and it gets the job done really fast with very thin slices. This had saved me so much time compared to cutting the slices manually. It is also very easy to use and clean.Very recommended!!
__Adrian Dixon
This is like night and day compared to other types of mandolines, Slice food to fit the shute dial in the type and size of cut and push the plunger couldn't be easier ! AND it really does cut julienne thick OR thin, and Fries easily. Most importantly I will never cut myself on this mandoline it is impossible if your using it correctly. I just returned the standard one I bought that was supposed to do thin julienne and fries but the force required was scary especially when it slipped, :[ #%* so back it went. At first I hesitated to invest in this one bc it is not traditional but it was either this or none. The only hang up was apple and other food slices were not rings but that's not going to stop the fam from eating them l.o.l. Read directions and test it out you will be pleasantly happy. Its worth the effort and money in my book.
__Keaton Day
Used for cucumbers and potatoes so far
__Mackenzie Contreras
Kept seeing a Facebook ad for something similar and got this! It’s freaking amazing! Onions are a little tricky because you have to make sure they’re in there just right and they end up falling over near the end, and dicing you cut strips then put them back through. All in all, I diced onion and green pepper for potato salad in a fraction of the time I would’ve with a knife. I even diced the potatoes…they’re small cubes (on the largest setting) but it’s just hubby and I so it’s fine! (Plus they cooked super fast!)
__Hazel Burgess
I have hand tremors and using this mandolin is not only easier for me but safer! Finally, a kitchen products for slicing that lets me keep my fingers! I highly recommend this product to essential tremor people.
__Emery Powers
I use it to prepare various foods for air fryer. I like that you can change cutting settings without touching blades. This was especially important since I cut myself three times on another brand of slicer.
__Charles Nielsen
While I don't love to clean it, it is the most useful thing I have in my kitchen! We love this and couldn't ask for anything better! We have used several types of mandolines before but this takes the cake! By a landslide! Seriously if this breaks, I'll buy another in 2 seconds flat. We really love it!
__Jovanny Flowers
Quick to learn settings!I use in large salad spinner bowl for higher volume of cuts.It is more time consuming to arrange the first rectangle cuts for cubes. I find knife cutting is faster, but otherwise this great for general prep. The feeder tube is great for smaller items but needs to be removed for wider items. Use extra caution with the tubes removed. Don't use on slippery surface or cutting board that can slip.Otherwise, it's super safe!! I feel like would be a great tool for kids to learn with.
__Kamron Gillespie
I really like using this. My hands stay out of the way, no cut fingers. I wish the opening was a little bigger, I have to cut the potatoes and onions a little smaller for them to fit.
__Eden Benitez
It is great for French fries, veggies, and we use it often! Great product!
__Camilla Hoover
Very good item. Easy to use, safe. The only cons - cannot be disassembled for cleaning.
__Guadalupe Bradshaw
I have to make a little cheat sheet for myself to remember what settings to use but otherwise it was easy and best of all I am not afraid to cut my hand. I was able to throw out two other appliances which saves me space in my kitchen.
__Zechariah Green
Extremely useful and works exactly as described! The demonstration video on the product page was very helpful in showing how to use each setting. I’ve been using this product for about a month now and have had no problem dicing, julienning, and slicing all kinds of vegetables. Saves me a massive amount of time on food prep and is easy to clean on top of everything else. It’s also very safe and user-friendly; with the location of the blades, my hands and fingers are always safe and are never in danger of being cut.Very happy with my purchase!
__Joaquin Ellis
This is the best thing I have ever bought!! I love the suction cups on the bottom to ensure it does not move while slicing. I love how quick and easy it is to use. I love all of the different settings. Honestly, I do not have a bad thing to say!!
__Cheyenne Drake
I'd like to write a review but I can't. Due to circumstances, I've only just now had a chance to use it. I realized I did not receive the vegetable chute, storage container or instructions. I haven't been able to find contact info for Once And For All either. IGNORE the above. A family member put the accessories in another place. Easy to use. Plan to give several for gifts. Wish it had come with instructions.
__Janiah Montes
Was a little skeptical. Then we tried it. It worked just like you see in commercials.
__Layne Coffey
My husband purchased this for me as I cook a lot. I remember giving him they eye-roll over it, but I really like it. It is small, easy to use and cleanup is a breeze! Much easier than dragging out my food processor.. I gave my husband five stars for this..
__Elyse Long
Es maravilloso. El mejor rebanador que he tenido en mi vida. Rápido, práctico y fácil de limpiar
__Rex Nielsen
I love it,so easy to use it ,still improving my French fry making,it's so fast,
__Cornelius Higgins
I really like this mandoline. I was getting tired of another one I had where I had anxiety about using the slicing mechanism for fear of shaving my skin off nearing the end and the sliding prong component never slid that easily, it was always so awkward. And using my box grater was fine for small grating of cheeses or a carrot, but if i had a bigger slicing project (shredding potatoes for hash browns or uniform slices of potatoes/zucchini), I dreaded it. This mandoline does a great job of keeping my fingers away from the blades, it does a quick job of shredding/dicing/julienne. The catch tray is perfect, it catches all the cuttings, and I don't have to awkwardly balance the device over a bowl or the cuttings landing all over the cutting board. The thought that I do not need 5+ different cutting plates is icing on the cake, as it frees up so much space in my drawer, just a quick turn on the different dials. It's so well made, very impressed with this. The only downside is it does take a bit more time cleaning, even with the included brush, but it's a minor inconvenience to all the other pros of this device.
__Dallas Schwartz
If you are wondering if you should get this stop wondering! I have used mine constantly since I got it. I chop for every dinner. I hardly use a knife now. I just toss everything into this. The fine slice/chop is something I can never achieve with a knife. I’m loving it.
__Randall Keith
After slicing off a chunk of my finger using a regular mandoline because I dispensed with the unwieldy food holder and forgot to put on my cut proof gloves, I decided to try this. Incredibly easy and fun to use. I have been using it to make salads, vegetable chips, pickles and anything else I can think of. It solves the safety issues of most mandolines. Why even sell the regular mandolines?
__Gavyn Esparza
This is great if you can figure out how to use it! The instructions are good. Its just overwhelming at first. The best thing to tell you is the large round knob sets the thickness. You need to look in the back to see the small set of 2 blade rows. Each of the 2 small handle twists to raise and lower them. To make fries set the large round knob to the highest number and raise ONLY 1 of the small handles blades.Oh and this shoots your food out the back farther than the small bowl can catch it so make sure your work surface is clean and lined with a cutting mat or something because YOU WILL HAVE TO PICK UP what doesnt hit the bowl.I made french fries so easy and cut up potatoes for a stew/soup really fast. You do have to use the small cleaning brush as the food will not all wash out unless you have a power sprayer on your sink faucet.
__Lilly Walls
Definitely has a learning curve. But well worth it. We love sweet potato hash but hate the prep of cubing the sweet potatoes, this made it super easy. I set it at the thickest setting to cut circles, then add one set of cross blades, stack the rounds to get cubes. Also it allows our 4yo to help with meal prep. Even to slice cucumbers, apples and carrots for his own snacking/lunches. Also makes quick work of slicing radishes and carrots to pickle. Or to airfry the carrots or sweet potatoes to make “chips”.
__Melany Nixon
This is so easy to use. Have used it for slicing cucumbers. Dicing onions, green peppers, garlic. Was surprised at how easy it is to use and it is sturdy. Easy to clean and folds up so it doesn't take up much room. I leave it in my counter all the time.
__Cindy Johnson
Ordered this yesterday, received it today and used it for slicing a tomato and an onion for my lunch sandwich. It took less than 2 minutes to get paper thin slices of each and NO eye watering from onion fumes. The feeder could be a bit bigger as I had to cut the onion in half. Washed it off with the faucet sprayer and folded it up to store in a drawer. Love it!
__Anna Bright
I bought this for my daughter with Cerebral Palsy so she can help with food prep. It’s GREAT quick, adjustable and easy to use!
__Layne Hanson
Great product will buy again
__Francis Morrow
I love my new slicer, easy to use even my kids can help without the risk of getting cut
__Cassie Mckee
So fun to use, saves so much time and helps so much that my hands don’t hurt after prep
__Mikaela Baldwin
Made very well. Works as described , I am still playing with the adjustments so once I get use to them will be able to make lots of different dishes. Need to get some potatoes and slice them up .. want to make homemade potatoes chips.
__Shannon Anthony
This easy to put together and use. I tried cucumber and carrots and did a fantastic job effortlessly. Anyone thinking about this should buy it.It is easy to use and clean and very safe.
__Amani Buchanan
i use this for all my veggies. love it.
__Claire Bautista
We threw away our mandolins a year ago after a few injuries in the house. I had seen another version of this product online but it had terrible reviews. I finally saw a youtube video where a kitchen gadget designer reviewed products and was surprised at how few complaints he had about this model. This thing is great. The adjustments were a little hard to understand at first but now I got it down. The chute can be a little awkward to put some items in but it's worked great for carrots, onions, zucchini, and most other things I've thrown at it. It also feels incredibly safe and comes with a cover that locks in for the chute/blade area when it's not in use. Our fingertips are safe again
__Lyric Cortez
I am finally not afraid to use a mandolin! I have had several in the past and usually after using one time, they just sit and take up space in the cabinets because of my fear of losing a fingertip. Not with this one, though. I bought this in preparation for canning bread and butter pickles since you cannot use a food processor for slicing pickling cucumbers. In the past, using the other kind of mandolin it was a chore and super scary. I tested this one out today and it was so easy and SAFE!!! I will definitely be using this more than just once a year for pickles like I did with my old mandolins. This one is easy and safe enough to use all the time for salad veggies, homemade french fries, veggie trays, etc.. And it was super safe and easy to clean.
__Zachariah Jimenez
There was no learning curve with this mandoline. It's very safe to use and I love the adjustable blade contained inside rather than several separate blades that are hard to store and not very safe to use! Potatoes and carrots are sliced quickly and easily.
__Raul Mcgee
I love this kitchen gadget. I have used it several times now to cut several different sizes. I used it to make fried potatoes. It cut perfect size thin potatoes as well as the onions to go with it. I also used it to make a chicken stew and cut carrots, celery, onions, and potatoes. Everything goes fast and easy. And its easy to clean afterward. Takes up just a little space as I leave it set up because I have been using it so much. I definitely recommend it. My only thing is it takes a little getting to know how to set the blades right to get the cuts you want. Read the directions carefully.
__Jose Bryan
This is very easy to use. I have tried a lot of mandolin slicers but too hard or cumbersome to use and this is a definite keeper...ease of use and sturdiness! I am using it all the time...no buyer remorse on this one!
__Darion Buckley
I have only used it a couple of times. I think it will take some practice on learning the different settings. I do find it is hard to clean.
__Hailey Lane
This tool is a must have if you don’t like cutting up vegetables. Oh my goodness, this is a lifesaver. I can chop veggies pretty fast but this thing is very sturdy, easy to setup, and easy to figure out. Just read how to turn the knob to adjust the slice sizes. That maybe the only challenge for people who don’t like to read. The directions are simple as far as setup and use. You will appreciate it!
__Carina Caldwell
I haven’t used it a lot yet. Still learning how to use it but it seems pretty easy and get easier the more I do use it
__Lila Beck
My husband loves this tool. He's the cook. For our anniversary I gave him this awesome tool. He has a ball creating things with it! I made a great choice! Thank you! If you cook, give this a try. You will not be disappointed.
__Jazmyn Stevenson
Where has this been all my life! I have wrist and finger issues, so chopping can often be harder than it should be. What a quality of life improvement!
__Chelsea Elliott
This tool is not that easy to clean but it’s infinitely more safe to use than a regular mandolin!
__Bridger Rice
Quick to setup and use. Made potato chips that were crispy and thin.
__Deja Ellis
Easy to use & clean
__Larry Moody
I love this vegetable mandolin! I previously used a major brand mandolin, but more than once nipped my fingers when I got too close to the blade. For me the little safety push handle they provided didn’t work well.I cut carrots frequently and the chute and plunger of this device allows me to cut multiple carrot pieces simultaneously and quickly with absolutely no fear of cutting myself. If you often cut vegetables, I strongly recommend this mandolin.
__Lilyana Simon
This is definitely an easy mandolin to operate. Chute feed and pump action make it safe and easy to use. Cleanup is simple as all goes in the top rack of the dishwasher. So far have only used it to thin slice onions and peppers for pizza and baked eggs. Look forward to exploring some of the other settings!
__Chana Mcintyre
it is o easy to use and just as subscibed
